MyEchoGoals is a habit, mood, and journaling app from My Echo Path LLC. You are always
in control of your data, and you can delete your account and all of the personal data
associated with it at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.
1. Delete your account from within the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in MyEchoGoals — on mobile or on the web app:
- Open MyEchoGoals and sign in.
- Go to the Profile screen (the “You” tab on mobile).
- Tap Delete account.
- Type the word delete to confirm, then tap Permanently delete account.
Your account and personal data are then permanently removed. This action cannot be
undone. You can reach the web app at
app.myechogoals.com.
2. Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app or your account, you can request deletion by emailing
us. Send a message from the email address associated with your account to
support@myechogoals.com with the subject
“Delete my account.” We will verify your request and delete your account and
associated personal data, typically within 30 days.
3. What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data associated with it, including:
- Your account and sign-in credentials (email and authentication record).
- Your habits and habit completion history.
- Your journal entries and any voice-created entries.
- Your mood check-ins.
- Your profile information and app preferences.
- Your subscription records held in the app.
4. What may be kept, and for how long
After deletion, we do not retain your personal habit, journal, or mood content. A limited
set of records may be kept only where required:
-
Payment and transaction records: if you subscribed, purchase and
billing records are held by the app store (Google Play or Apple) and, where applicable,
our payment processor, and are retained by them as required by law and their policies.
Managing or cancelling a subscription is done in your app-store account.
-
Legal and security records: we may retain limited information for as
long as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse.
This does not include your journal, mood, or habit content.
-
Backups: residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a short
period before being overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
For more detail on how we handle your information, see our
Privacy Policy and
Consumer Health Privacy Notice.
